Nairobi Woman Charged in Court for Attemting Suicide, New Details Emerge

“I was charged in court for having tried to end my life reason being we had a domestic wrangle with my husband” A Nairobi woman reveals.

A woman from South C, Nairobi County shared her story on how she had decided to take her own life reason being she had got into a domestic wrangle with her husband. As she said, they had been having rifts in their marriage as she has been accusing her husband if not being loyal into their marriage. She says she had caught her husband cheat in her so many times and since it was his norm, she wanted to end her life to leave the world to him. Her husband would beat her up any time she tried to confront and ask him why he had been cheating on her.

“I couldn’t bare anymore. That night I decided to end my life. I walked in a busy Nairobi street and I had vowed to end my life through throwing myself in front of a moving vehicle. My plans were halted after a pedestrian seemed to have known my plans where I was arrested and charged the next morning,” she said.

That did not end her husband cheating ways. Still the problem was not solved. Her husband still had the audacity to roam with women despite him being in marriage.
