Nandi; A thief confesses that he had to return a goat he stole, reason being it talked to him

Kaspsoit residents in Nandi County had been complaining for such a long time on how their cattle had been disappearing anyhow. It is said that a certain gang of thieves had ganged up in there area where they would steal people’s cattle for easy and quick money. It is said that there were brokers who were buying the stolen cattle especially goats and selling them to butchery people at lower costs.One of the farmer’s identified as kiplimo, who had been affected by the theft said to have been coarsed as at one night his 30 sheep were stolen.

The guy who stole a talking goat is said to be among the gang which has been stealing people livestock. When asked what made him return the goat instead of selling it for money, he said that particular night, the goat kept talking to him. He said the goat had been pressuring him that it wanted to get back home or else things would go amiss.

Kiplimo the owner of the goat is said to have seeked the services of a herbalist called Dr Mugwenu as he said he was not ready to incur another loss. The angry mob was readily prepared to lynch him to death but with the help of police, he was rescued.
