A late night event in Rongai left residents in shock and with an unexpected blackout after four thieves decided to siphon oil and other valuables from a transformer. The January 2nd incident left many with more questions than answers, after they somehow managed to disconnect the transformer and avoid the many live wires in it. Unfortunately, they were spotted by a curious home owner after seeing suspicious activity in and around the transformer.
